Blokes Events is a new event organizer established by two old school friends Arthur Blok & Joest Kessen in 2021. The two blokes know each other from secondary school in the early nineties, when they both attended their first houseparty. Soon after they became true ‘gabbers’ all through the nineties, and they have never stopped partying ever since.
They both felt it was time to introduce a new ‘friends-concept’ to the Dutch dance scene that was hit hard by the Covid 19 pandemic. After months of discussion the ‘Gizmo & friends’ franchise was born.
The idea of Gizmo & friends is to rave only with friends and to build new friendships by giving community members access after registration to bring one other friend. In the end Blokes Events wants to build a thriving friends community where the DJ’s and visitors become one and rave the day away.
In the end it is not about us, but about you and the friends you would like to rave with. Isn’t that what partying is all about? Having a good time with the ones you love and making some new friends along the way?
